AC Alexander is an American guitarist whose musical path began at the age of 10, and has been teaching for the past 10 years. Beginning with saxophone throughout his elementary and junior high years, he picked up the guitar at the age of 16 and joined the high school Jazz band. It wasn't long before he began giving private instruction to fellow high school classmates, even though he had only been playing the instrument for a short time. It was around this time that AC began the study of music theory, and started to explore the styles of Classical, Country, Jazz, Funk, Rock, Blues, and Metal. In 2003 he placed first in the Guitar Center's Guitarmageddon competition in San Diego, and soon caught the eye of vocalist Parramore McCarty (Steve Stevens Atomic Playboys, Warrior) . This prompted AC's relocation to Los Angeles after completion of his business degree from San Diego State University, where he also studied music. AC has rapidly created a reputation and name for himself as a player and gained the respect of many which has given him the opportunity to play with notable artists. He has been touring consistently throughout the USA, Europe and Japan since 2008.
AC currently resides in the South Bay where he offers private and online instruction guitar instruction:
